Lille will not be able to have midfielder Renato Sanches in the coming weeks. The Portuguese has undergone knee surgery and has been sidelined for about a month and a half.
The 23-year-old Sanches was already missing in the selection of Lille last weekend, which lost 0-4 at home to Nice. On the opening day of the Ligue 1 against Metz (3-3) he was still 90 minutes between the lines. He will probably also miss the first two matches of the Champions League.
